FREMONT, CA: Mismo, a startup that delivers remote development talent to small- to medium-sized businesses and tech firms, has launched a new online recruiting, hiring, and onboarding platform for U.S. firms looking to grow their teams nearshore software engineers and developers in Latin America.

Mismo's platform connects customers with Latin American engineers and developers with various skillsets and degrees of expertise, allowing employers to make smarter recruiting decisions. The platform uses standardized resume formats to make comparisons across resumes simple.It also includes video responses from applicants, allowing the employer to assess communication abilities without the need for a phone interview. Employers could see code samples and develop a sense of a candidate's technical competency by using specialized screening tests in technologies like Ruby on Rails, Python, and React.Furthermore, Mismo has integrated an automated sign-on system called Magic Link, eliminating the need for users to memorize any other login and password combination.
