Steve Flook, President and CEO, iHire now offers additional tools and services for sports-minded job seekers and employers

FREMONT, CA: The post-acquisition platform integration between iHire and WorkInSports has been completed, offering a new site experience and expanded solutions to job seekers and employers in the sports industry. WorkInSports became the 57th industry-focused talent community in the iHire network when the companies merged in April.

Job seekers on WorkInSports can now use iHire-powered functions and technologies to locate ideal job opportunities and enhance their skills. WorkInSports now allows members to use iScore Resume Match to compare their resumes to specific job postings with a new user interface. It enables them to work with dedicated career advisors, use resume and cover letter writing templates, and receive even more relevant, verified jobs matched to their qualifications and preferences.

WorkInSports job seekers will continue to receive access to WorkInSports’ Podcast and career resources, sport management degree directory, and Sports Career Game Plan course. In addition, job seekers from iHire’s other 56 talent communities can join WorkInSports to access over 20,000 sports employment opportunities.

Employers can use WorkInSports to access iHire's comprehensive suite of recruitment marketing products, including recruitment advertising, talent sourcing, and employer branding tools, all of which are designed to link them with sports-minded prospects quickly. In addition, current iHire employers can tap into the WorkInSports talent pool – 47.4 percent of whom have direct sports industry job experience.

“We are confident that job seekers and employers will find the new, iHire-powered WorkInSports to be a gamechanger for how they search for employment and discover top talent in the sports industry,” said Steve Flook, iHire’s President and CEO. “We cannot wait to see what the future brings for our combined brands and for our customers as the sports world rehires and rebuilds, post COVID-19.”

“People are your most valuable asset, which is why finding, hiring and retaining talent is more important than ever. That makes what we do— connecting employers with qualified candidates—much more meaningful,” Flook concluded.
