PLANO, TEXAS: BG Staffing, Inc. (NYSE American: BGSF), a rapidly growing national provider of professional temporary staffing services, today announced that the Board of Directors promoted Beth A. Garvey to the offices of Chief Executive Officer and President, effective October 1, 2018. In conjunction with the appointment of Garvey, on October 1, 2018, L. Allen Baker, Jr. will resign as Chief Executive Officer and President and remain as Chairman of the Board.
Garvey has served as the Company's Chief Operating Officer since August 2016 after joining the BG Staffing team through the 2013 acquisition of InStaff Personnel, LLC. As COO, Garvey has overseen day-to-day operations of the Company, and has led the team to streamline operations, build brand recognition and enhance collaboration within all the Company's operations.
Baker said, "I'm delighted that Beth has accepted the role of CEO of BG Staffing. Her strategic thinking and ability to drive teams, along with the strong support of Dan Hollenbach, CFO, will enable us to stay on the growth path we have experienced over the past several years.
