Clevest Announces its Work Force Management Solution for Veridian Connections

FREMONT, CA: Clevest Solutions, a provider of software for mobile workforce management and smart grid operations software, announces Clevest Workforce Management 5.1 for Veridian Connections, an electrical power distributer facilitating effective work assignment and tracking. This solution is meant to serves 118,000 residential and business customers.

Clevest Workforce Management 5.1 deployed on Veridian Connections allows automated data validation, facilitating reduction of manual interventions by Geographic Information System (GIS). It enabled Veridian technicians to successfully complete their inspection orders. “Clevest’s vision for a smart grid mobile future includes the ability to automate the entire workforce, and this deployment is an excellent example of this vision.” says, Thomas Ligocki, President and CEO, Clevest. This solution supports the management of work force that includes people engaged in meter service work and pole inspections, by facilitating field and office data made available on mobile platform.

According to Michael Angemeer, President and CEO, Veridian, their technicians are able to make on-the-spot map annotations to verify their GIS schematic, with asset photos and GPS location information posted directly to their GIS and it creates near instantaneous form updates for their asset inspections.
